Dear NICOT Members and Supporters,
As the founding president of the Nigerian Community in Tees Valley (NICOT), it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our official website. Our journey started in 2006 with a simple idea – to create a community that promotes Nigerian culture and values and supports our fellow Nigerians in this region.
Through hard work and dedication, we have turned this idea into a reality, and NICOT has become a recognised and respected organisation that has made significant contributions to community cohesion and integration. Our range of events and programmes showcases the vibrancy and diversity of Nigerian culture and has helped foster greater understanding and appreciation of our culture.
I would like to express my appreciation to our members and supporters who have been instrumental in our success. As we continue on our journey, I encourage you all to join us in our mission to promote Nigerian culture and values, support our community, and foster greater understanding and appreciation of our culture.
Thank you for your continued support of NICOT.
Sincerely,
Dr Abayomi Opaneye
Founding President
